JACKSON * AGENCY TRACKING NO. 2013-746 <br /> AMENDED CHARGES <br /> The Louisiana Board of Ethics, in its capacity as the Supervisory Committee on <br /> Campaign Finance Disclosure, voted on August 21, 2015, to and does hereby amend the original <br /> charge filed February 21, 2014,to reflect the following: <br /> I. <br /> Michael L. Jackson was an unsuccessful candidate for the office of State Senator, 14th <br /> Senatorial District, State of Louisiana, in the October 22, 2011 election. <br /> II. <br /> The office of State Senator, 14th Senatorial District, State of Louisiana, is a "district" <br /> level office'. La. R.S.18:1484(1) requires each candidate for a "district" level office to file <br /> certain campaign finance disclosure reports. <br /> III. <br /> La. R.S. 18:1495.4A provides that the candidate is responsible for the filing of reports of <br /> all information required by the Supervisory Committee at the times required by the Campaign <br /> Finance Disclosure Act(CFDA). <br /> 'La.R.S. 18:1483(7)(a)defines"district office"to include the office of a member of the Louisiana Legislature. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
