This Subsection shall not be construed to limit that authority authorized by law, statute, <br /> ordinance,or legislative rule in eaff"g out official duties. <br /> 3. <br /> La.R.S.42:1102 provides the following definitions: <br /> (2)(a) "A ency"means a department,office,division,agency, commission,-board, Cormittee,or <br /> other organizational unit of a governmental entity. <br /> (15) "Participate" means to take part in or to have or sham responsibility for action of a <br /> governmental entity or a proceeding, personally, as a public servant of the govonunental entity, <br /> through approval,disapproval,decision,recommendation,the rendering of advice,investigation, <br /> or the failure to act or perfonn a.duty. <br /> Page 4 of <br />
