RE:
Request the Board waive the $320 campaign finance late fee assessed against John Ieyoub, a candidate for Councilman, District D, City of Lake Charles in the April 6, 2013 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Billy Lofton on behalf of Mr. Ieyoub states that the Louisiana Realtor PAC money which necessitated the reporting was given in 2012 and reported in 2012. He states that Mr. Ieyoub only has $450.00 in contributions for 2012 which reported in that year and that was the only money on hand other than the $270 in personal funds loaned by Mr. Ieyoub to his campaign. This is Mr. Ieyoub's second campaign.
