RE:
Request that the Board waive the $500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Henry Wright, a candidate for Chief of Police, Town of Roseland, Tangipahoa Parish, in the November 6, 2012 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 152 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Henry Wright states that he lost his filing papers so he called the board and we mailed him new ones but by the time he received them and put them back in the mail they were late. He further states that he does not have $500 to pay for the late fee and help would be greatly appreciated. He also said prior to being elected Chief of Police of Roseland in January 2013 he was laid off for two years.
