Request that the Board waive the $450 late fee assessed against Brent Boyd for his failure to timely file a lobbyist Supplemental Registration. |
|
As a new Lobbyist, Mr. Boyd was unfamiliar and confused with the Online Reporting process as well as the difference between Supplemental and initial Lobbying Registration. He claims to have contacted our office in April and spoke with Danny, to reinforce he was compliant. His wife Joan is battling cancer which has now spread to her bones. He only registered to Lobby as a favor to Tom Spradley for the session and apologizes he didn't understand, as his mind has been somewhere else given what his wife is going through.
