Bossier Parish School Board, through legal counsel, has submitted a disqualification plan that allows Kyle Machen to continue his employment with Bossier Parish School District while his father, D.C. Machen serves as Superintendent for the District. The plan states that the Assistant Superintendent will have supervision in all matters that involve Kyle Machen and that D.C. Machen will not participate in any matters regarding his son.

Section 1112C of the Code allows a disqualification plan to be developed in accordance with rules adopted by the Board to remove a public servant from participating in transactions that would otherwise present violations of Section 1112 of the Code.
