Ms. Clarkson states that she is being considered for the position of Honorary Consul of Lithuania for Louisiana. Her application for this position, which is being processed through the State Department, requires that she fill out a form attesting that there are no violations of State Law for her service in the position as a Honorary Consul. She would like for the Board of Ethics to confirm that there is no violation of the Code if she serves in the position of Honorary Consul while she maintains her position as a councilman for the City of New Orleans.
