RE:
Request that the Board reconsider to waive the $400 and $400 campaign finance late fees assessed against Ronald E. Berry, a candidate for Councilman, District 4 City of Morgan City in the November 6, 2012 election, whose 10-G and EDE-P campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 78 and 207 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board reconsider to waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Ronald Berry states that he has already paid a late fee of the request amount of $100 to our office and doesn't understand why he has another late fee. He thought that his previous payment was received and closed the matter. He does not feel like he owes any more late fees since he paid the late fee for the late filing of the 30-P report.
