Dale Trahan states that he would like to provide additional services to the Police Jury with no additional compensation other than the monthly mandated salary paid to him as a police juror.

Section 1113 of the Code prohibits a public servant from entering into any transaction, contract or subcontract that is under the supervision of the agency of the public servant.
Section 1123 (30) provides that a public servant may donate services, immovable property, or funds to his agency. Nothing shall be construed to allow a public servant to make an appointment of a person which is otherwise prohibited by the Ethics Code.
