RE:
Request that the Board waive the $1000 late fee assessed against Angela Sue Miller for her failure to timely file a Lobbyist Supplemental report.
Facts:
Ms. Miller is a former employee of the Louisiana Association of Educators (LAE). She resigned her employment on May 15, 2013 however, her supplemental report indicating her termination was not filed until June 13, 2013.

The LAE has a hold harmless agreement with Ms. Miller.

Mr. Burland indicates that the Ms. Miller's departure was not known to the employee assigned to file Ms. Miller's reports until after the 10 day window to file the report has passed.

Mr. Burland indicates that the abrupt nature of Ms. Miller's departure was the cause of the late filing of the report.
