Albert Menard is the Alderman for District "C" of Breaux Bridge. Breaux Bridge is a Lawrason Act community. Andrea Menard is the sister of Albert Menard. Ms. Menard is seeking to be a school crossing guard for the Breaux Bridge Police Department.

1112B No public servant, except as provided in R.S. 42:1120, shall participate in a transaction involving the governmental entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any of the following persons has a substantial economic interest: 1) Any member of his immediate family.
1119B(1) No member of the immediate family of a member of a governing authority or the chief executive of a governmental entity shall be employed by the governmental entity.
