RE:
In connection with a request that the Board waive the $60 campaign finance late fee assessed against Reid Stone, a candidate for Councilman, District A, Orleans Parish in the February 1, 2014 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 1 day late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Mr.Stone states a fee of $60 was assessed in regards to a campaign finance disclosure report that his committee was unable to file January 2, 2014 and immediately filed the following morning January 3, 2014 with assistance from our office.

It is his understanding that the proper forms were submitted but that he did not have a log- in. As the campaign was also formally closed at the same time, he humbly request leniency in this matter. He says this was his first election and that all other forms have been filed in a timely manner.
