Request that the Board waive the $200 late fee assessed against Jonathan Barganier for his failure to timely file his December 2013 lobbyist expenditure report. |

Barganier is a registered lobbyist in several states and has consistently filed in Louisiana. Even though he set reminders for himself he did not timely file. He regrets registering in the State of Louisiana for the year 2013 since he spent very little time in Louisiana and had no expenditures. He does not intend to register as a lobbyist in Louisiana in 2014.

24:55 A. Each lobbyist registered under the provisions of this Part shall file with the board, in the manner provided in this Section, a report of all expenditures incurred for the purpose of lobbying.
B. A report shall be filed monthly. The report for each month shall be filed by the twenty-fifth day of the following month.
24:58D(1) Any person required to register and who fails to timely register and any person who fails to timely file any report required by this Part shall be assessed, pursuant to R.S. 42:1157, a late fee of fifty dollars per day.
