In connection with a request that the Board waive the $360 campaign finance late fee assessed against Charles Gregory "Greg" Terry, a candidate for Assessor, Catahoula Parish in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 2013 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 6 days late. |

In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Charles Gregory "Greg" Terry states that he filed the report online and printed of a copy of it on January 17, 2014. He thought the report was taken care of and until he received a certified letter on February 24, 2014 that told him that he was being fined for not filing the report. He states that after talking to Cheryl at the Ethics Board office he did another report on February 24, 2014 and sent it electronically again.
The report dates were incorrectly entered on January 17, 2014 for October 3, 2011 through December 31, 2011. When staff received the report they accepted it as an amendment to a previously filed report covering the dates October 3, 2011 through December 31, 2011 and issued an NOD for the 2013 supplemental report.
