Request that the Board waive the $1,100 campaign finance late fee assessed against Richard Perque, a candidate for Judge, Civil District Court, Orleans Parish, in the November 4, 2014 election, whose 180-P Report was filed 11 days late. |
|
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Richard Perque states that unfortunately, due to a miscommunication between the campaign and the campaign disclosure accountant, there was a question as to whether this report was required for a pending or a future campaign, and therefore whether the 180-P report was required on the specified date. He states that this is the only instance of a late fee under LA RS 18:1511.4.1 being assessed against himself or his campaign. Accordingly, he is requesting a waiver or a reduction of the assessment.
