Gordon Hutchinson has continuously served as an unpaid reserve officer for the City of Central Police Department since 2008. Mr. Hutchinson intends to run for election as Constable in Ward 3, District 1 of East Baton Rouge Parish in November, 2014. If elected, he would serve as the Constable for the City of Central and its surrounding area.

La. R.S. 42:1113 prohibits public servants, their immediate family member, or legal entities in which they have a controlling interest, from entering into any contract, subcontract, or other transaction that is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the agency of such public servant.
