RE:
Appearance by Ann Wise, Director of the Division of Administrative Law, to select an alternate administrative law judge to serve on the Ethics Adjudicatory Board.
Comments:
David Griffith was selected as an administrative law judge to serve on the Ethics Adjudicatory Board - Panel B at the Board's December 20, 2013 meeting. Mr. Griffith is retiring this month. Therefore, the alternate selected at the December meeting will serve as a member of Panel B. A new alternate administrative law judge needs to be selected to serve on the Ethics Adjudicatory Board.

The current term of the members of the Ethics Adjudicatory Board ends December 31, 2016.

Law:
R.S. 42:1141.2B(1) provides that the members of the EAB shall serve a three-year term.

R.S. 42:1141.2A provides that the members of the EAB shall be randomly selected by the Division of Administrative Law Director at a public meeting of the Ethics Board from among the names of those administrative law judges who meet the qualifications.
