RE:
Request that the Board waive the $400 campaign finance late fee assessed against Chad Jeansonne, a candidate for Chief of Police, City of Bunkie, Avoyelles Parish, in the April 5, 2014 election whose 10-G Report was filed 121 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Chad Jeansonne states that this was a very confusing process. He is living paycheck to paycheck trying to raise his son as a single father. He is asking for consideration since he has never been involved in a campaign and it was an honest oversight on his part.
