RE:
Request that the Board waive the $420 campaign finance late fee assessed against Kenneth Klock, a candidate for City Marshal, City of Hammond, in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 7 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Kenneth Klock states that he is from Pennsylvania and candidates only have to file once a year there so he mistakenly thought the rules were the same in Louisiana. He also states that he did not think he needed to file because he is funding his own campaign and only spent $100.
