Don Hidalgo was assessed a $1,500 late fee based upon the late filing of his termination report for Health Associates, LLC. In fact, he is the owner of Health Associates, LLC and did not terminate his representation.
He did not file a timely lobbyist waiver request as his secretary, Laura Gamel, who helps him was out of the office due to the premature birth of her son. Ms. Gamel has indicated that she filed the report in error.

Mr. Hidalgo was assessed a $1,500 late fee for the late filing of a termination report. Mr. Hidalgo sought a review by the EAB.
