La. R.S. 42:1167 provides that all judges shall be governed exclusively by the provisions of the Code of Judicial Conduct which is administered by the Judiciary Commission.
La. R.S. 42:1119A states that no member of the immediate family of an agency head shall be employed by his agency.
La. R.S. 42:1102(13) defines immediate family member to include his children, the spouses of his children, his brothers and their spouses, his sisters and their spouses, his parents, his spouse, and the parents of his spouse.
