RE:
Request that the Board waive the $720 campaign finance late fee assessed against Warren Lawrence, a candidate for Parish Council Member, District 7, City of Port Sulphur, Plaquemine Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 18 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the reports, Warren Lawrence states that he is 74 years old and only made a mistake filing one report and the others were filed timely. He is a first time candidate and can't afford the fine as he lives on a fixed income. He asks for forgiveness and a waiver of fines.
