Request that the Board waive the $180 campaign finance late fee assessed against Gideon Carter, a candidate for District Judge, 19th JDC, City of Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 3 days late. |

In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the reports, Gideon Carter states that he was not able to timely file online due to a computer crash resulting in loss of his log-in information on the evening of Friday 11/14/2014.
He sent several messages that evening, and followed up with a phone call on Monday 11/17/2014 when he was able to speak with someone in the Ethics office who recovered his log-in information. He states that had he been able to access his information on the website that evening, as this feature is not available without speaking to someone, he would have filed timely.
