Felicia Brown terminated her employment with the Ethics Review Board on December 31, 2014. During her employment, she developed a personal friendship with Susan Hutson, an Independent Police Monitor for the City of New Orleans. Ms. Brown would like to give Ms. Hutson a quilted piece of fabric depicting designs that are of interest to her.

La. R.S. 42:1111A(1) prohibits a public servant from receiving any thing of economic value, other than compensation and benefits from the governmental entity to which he is duly entitled, for the performance of the duties and responsibilities of his office and position.
