Clint Michael "Mike" Domangue, Jr., a former member of the Board of Directors of the Houma Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, received a notice of delinquency on January 30, 2015, requesting he file his 2013 Tier 2.1 annual personal financial disclosure statement (PFD). Sondra Corbitt, a representative of the Visitor's Bureau, filed an answer on behalf of Mr. Domangue on February 2, 2015. Ms. Corbitt stated that Mr. Domangue resigned from the Board in May 2013. Therefore, she believes that Mr. Domangue should not be required to file a PFD covering 2013.

La. R.S. 42:1124.2.1 requires financial disclosure for each member and designee of a board or commission which has the authority to expend, disburse or invest $10,000 or more of funds in a fiscal year on or before May 15th of each year during which the person holds office and the year following termination of the holding of such office. However, if the holding of the office terminates in January, then he will not be required to file a financial statement the year following termination as long as he files a financial statement during the year in which the holding of the office terminates that includes the period he held the office that year.
La. R.S. 42:1124.4 provides that upon discovery of the failure to file, failure to timely file, omission of information or inaccurate information, the Board shall notify the filer by sending him a notice of delinquency by certified mail. The notice of delinquency shall inform the person that the financial statement must be filed, or that the information must be disclosed or accurately disclosed, or that a written answer contesting the allegation of such failure, omission, or inaccuracy must be filed no later than seven (7) business days after receipt of the notice of delinquency.

Advise Mr. Domangue that he has 7 business days to file a 2013 Tier 2.1 annual personal financial disclosure statement.
