Appearance in connection with a request that the Board reconsider waiving the $540 campaign finance late fee assessed against Patrick Pierson, a candidate for Constable, 1st Parish Court, City of Gretna, Jefferson Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose 10-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late. |
|
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Patrick Pierson states that he was a first time candidate and the reason for his late filing was not due to the fact that he failed to file timely, but instead that he filed the report too early, as he was unsure of the timing for all of the filings. He also states that he did not solicit or accept any campaign contributions or make any expenditures.
In the February 2015 meeting, the Board suspended the late fee for the 30-P report because the report had $0 activity.
