Joshua Bordelon's father, Donald Bordelon, is an appointed board member of St. Tammany Recreation District 4 ("District"). Joshua Bordelon own 95% and his father owns 5% of By-U-Boys Seafood and Catering. Crabfest Lacombe, LLC, has a lease contract with the District to hold Crabfest Lacombe 2015 in John Davis Park on June 26-28, 2015. The District strictly leases John Davis Park to Crabfest Lacombe, LLC, and would have no supervision or control over Crabfest Lacombe 2015.

R.S. 42:1113B prohibits appointed members of any board or commission, their immediate family members, or legal entities in which they have a substantial economic interest, from bidding on or entering into or being in any way interested in any contract, subcontract, or other transaction which is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the agency of such appointed member.
