Request that the Board waive the $1500 and the $600 fees assessed against Barbara Simpson based on the late filing of her January and February 2015 Expenditure reports. |

Mrs. Simpson filed her January expenditure report that was due by February 25, 2015, 40 days late and filed her February expenditure report that was due by March 25, 2015, 12 days late. She was assessed late fees of $1500 and $600. Mrs. Simpson lost her daughter and has been going through a hard time. She has been in counseling and not able to seek work as a Lobbyist. Mrs. Simpson is asking the Board to waive all fees that have occurred. She would like to terminate her registration for the remainder of 2015.
On June 9, 2015 the lobbying staff mailed Mrs. Simpson a letter requesting the date of her daughter's passing. Mrs. Simpson was given 30 days to respond. The lobbying staff has made numerous attempts to contact Mrs. Simpson in efforts to obtain this information.
