RE:
Request that the Board waive the $400 campaign finance late fee assessed against Richmond Boyd, Jr., a candidate for School Board Member, District 3, Lafourche Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 57 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Richmond Boyd, Jr., states that he did not think he had to file the report subsequent to the primary election because he won the primary election. Based on the "Report Type" column on the reporting schedule, Mr. Boyd believed himself to be finished with reporting once he won the primary election. Mr. Boyd further stated he seeks forgiveness for his mistake, as it was unintentional and he has since read the schedule fully.
