Request that the Board waive the $280 campaign finance late fee assessed against Arthur Lee, a candidate for Mayor, City of Tallulah, Madison Parish in the May 3, 2014 Election, whose 2014 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 7 days late. |

In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the reports, Arthur Lee states that his caretaker mailed the "form" in question (from a mailbox, not over the counter) for him on February 17, 2015 from Federal Way, WA, where he just had received a back operation on February 11, 2015, and subsequently was bedridden until February 16, 2015. He states he spoke with a representative from the Ethics Administration and was informed that the envelope had a Federal Way, WA postmark but not a specific date, which she provided sometimes happen. Mr. Lee then offered the person with whom he spoke in the Ethics office a copy of his airline tickets and surgery date information.
