Request that the Board waive the $600 campaign finance late fee assessed against Judge Pamela Baker, a candidate for Judge, Family Court/Section 3, East Baton Rouge Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 66 days late. |

In connection with her request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Pamela Baker states that she was unaware that this report was due. However, she completed and filed the report, with the help of the Ethics staff, upon discovering the accountant handling her campaign matters failed to submit the report. She has since retained another accountant to maintain her reporting. Additionally, Ms. Baker provides that she previously requested her address be changed with the Ethics Administration. Moreover, Ms. Baker states that her campaign has no money, and in fact has substantial debt, and it will be a substantial hardship to pay this late fee assessment.
