RE:
Request that the Board waive the $240 campaign finance late fee assessed against Tamara L. Jones, a candidate for Constable/Justice of the Peace Ward, St. Bernard Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 6 days late.
Facts:
In connection with her request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Tamara Jones states that she had to relieve her campaigns financial manager a few days prior to the report being due, which caused her report to be delayed. A new manager has assumed the role and worked diligently to bring all reports and paperwork current, but he was unable to meet the deadline.
