Request that the Board waive the $2,600 in campaign finance late fees assessed against Rickeem Jackson, a candidate for Judge/Juvenile Court, Section 1A, East Baton Rouge Parish in the November 4, 2014 Election, whose EDE-P was filed 12 days late and 40-G campaign finance disclosure report was not filed. |

In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Rickeem Jackson states that this was his first election and he was confused. Upon calling, he was told he needed to file the report after the primary. He believed the young lady filed the reports until he returned to town and discovered the late fee letters. Upon calling again, he was informed that some of the letters simply were explaining the reports were due and some deadlines were returned.
