Request that the board waive the $600 campaign finance late fee assessed against Hillery Godfred Johnson, a candidate for East Baton Rouge Metro Council, District 2 in the November 6, 2012 election, whose 2013 Supplemental report was filed 436 days late. |
|
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Hillery Godfred Johnson states that after filing his 2012 supplemental report, he did not realize that he needed to file again until he received a late fee order. At the time, the person who normally prepared his reports became very ill and he had to find another report preparer. He states that all of the money in his campaign was his personal funds and he forgave those loans on his 2013 supplemental report.
