RE:
Request that the board waive the late fees assessed against Daniel Williams, a candidate for State Representative, District 26 in the February 21, 2015 election, for filing the following campaign finance disclosure reports late: $2,000 for the 30-P report and $2,000 for the 10-P report.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, Daniel Williams states that the reason for the late filing was a communication and organizational issue. Throughout the campaign, there was a complete lapse of bookkeeping and organization. Once the issue was identified, the process and data collecting was difficult to do within the amount of time allotted.
