Mr. Semon is employed in the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) as a program manager. This position is responsible for performing the functions of treatment, care, training and education of individuals with addictive, mental and emotional disorders. He is responsible for the certification and re-certification of providers within the Louisiana Behavioral Health Partnership. He participates in the development of programs policies and procedures related to OBH Workforce certification, legislation or other changes in federal or state law or policy.
He was seeking a position with Aetna as a remote population health specialist, however, he has decided to withdraw his name from consideration for the position. He would like to withdraw his advisory opinion request.

La. R.S. 42:1121B(1) of the Code provides that no former public employee shall, for a period of two years following the termination of his public employment, assist another person, for compensation, in a transaction, or in an appearance in connection with a transaction in which such former public employee participated at any time during his public employment and involving the governmental entity by which he was formerly employed, or for a period of two years following termination of his public employment, render, any service which such former public employee had rendered to the agency during the term of his public employment on a contractual basis to, for, or on behalf of the agency with which he was formerly employed.
