On October 28, 2015, Mr. Hataway states that he received an Order from the Louisiana Board of Ethics assessing a $50 penalty against him for the late filing of a lobbyist expenditure report. Mr. Hataway apologizes for the oversight. His family was hosting an exchange student from Panama the week the report was due and he simply lost track of the reporting deadline during the chaos of the week. As soon as he received the delinquency the morning of October 27, 2015, he quickly filed the required documents by 9:23am that same morning. This is Mr. Hataway's first late filing.
