Mr. Boudreaux requested an advisory opinion regarding whether the Code of Governmental Ethics would prohibit you him serving as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government once he is sworn in as the newly elected Louisiana State Senator representing District 24. Additionally, he inquired whether he would be prohibited from terminating his full-time employment and seeking employment in a part-time capacity with the Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department.
