Advisory opinion request as to whether Lacy Davis may be employed part-time with the Caddo Parish Fire District # 8 while her father serves as a board member of Caddo Parish Fire District # 8.
Law:
La. R.S. 42:1119A prohibits an immediate family member of an agency head from being employed by his agency.

La. R.S. 42:1102(3) defines "agency head" as the chief executive or administrative officer of an agency or any member of a board or commission who exercises supervision over the agency.
Recommendations:
Adopt the proposed advisory opinion.
