Stephen Petit, Jr., is currently employed as the Director of Code Enforcement for the City of Kenner. The City of Kenner has an ordinance that prohibits its employees from engaging in political activity for Kenner City elections. Mr. Petit has qualified to run for the Republican State Central Committee and the Jefferson Parish Republican Executive Committee in the March 5, 2016 election.
