RE:
Request that the Board waive the $660 and $660 campaign finance late fees assessed against James S. Lee, a candidate for Winn Parish Coroner in the October 24, 2015 Election, whose 30-P and 10-G campaign finance disclosure reports were each filed 11 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request that the Board waive the late fee assessed for the late filing of the report, James S. Lee states that the 30-P report was late because he is a first time candidate and he did not think he was required to file a 30-P report. He states that he filed the information for the 10-G timely, but it was reported on the wrong form. When the error came to his attention, the information was immediately re-filed with the help of the IT Department on the correct form.
