Advisory Opinion request regarding whether the Code of Governmental Ethics would prohibit Kevin Williams from serving as a member of the St. Bernard Parish Planning Commission and being employed in the St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department.
Facts:
Mr. Williams provided that the Commission hears various planning and zoning requests and makes recommendations to the St. Bernard Parish Council for final determination. Generally, the Commission meets once a month. Mr. Williams stated that Parish President Guy McInnis offered him a position in the Recreation Department.
Recommendations:
Adopt draft advisory opinion.
