Catherine Papillion would like to accept a job as a secretary with the St. Landry Council on Aging. Mary Chapman, her husband's second cousin, is the Director for the St. Landry Council on Aging.

La. R.S. 42:1119A prohibits an immediate family member of an agency head from being employed by his agency.
La. R.S. 42:1102(13) defines "immediate family" to include a public servant's children, the spouses of his children, his brothers and their spouses, his sisters and their spouses, his parents, his spouse, and the parents of his spouse.
