Request that the Board waive three $2,000 ($6,000) campaign finance late fees assessed against Biaster Hewitt George, a candidate for East Carroll Parish Assessor in the October 24, 2015 election, whose 30-P, 10-P, and 10-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 299, 279 and 250 days late. |
|
In connection with his waiver request, Biaster Hewitt-George states that his son was injured during football practice and required surgery in October 2015. Before and after surgery, his son required physical therapy three times a week in another town. Mr. George states that he was focused on getting his son to physical therapy appointments and began to have medical issues himself based on the stress.
