Audra Shay states that when she started with the firm Fenet Treadway and Gaudin, she was not aware that lobbying was going to be part of her job requirement. When the managing partner could no longer take care of this task, she was given the job at the last minute. The assistant then signed her up and paid all the fees. She was not given any direction by the firm as to how to manage her lobbying account. Ms. Shay subsequently resigned from that firm. She was taken off the access to that email and was unaware that reports had not been filed or even needed to be filed. She has since talked to Andrea in depth about what is required and assures that it will not happen in the future.
