Request that the Board waive the $480 campaign finance late fee assessed against Charles "Chuck" Nassauer, a candidate for State Representative, District 75, in the March 27,1999 election, whose 2015 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late. |
|
Charles Nassauer states that he has personally filed all required reports in a timely matter for the last 16 years while running for Washington Parish Council. For his State Representative campaign, his personal CPA, Mike Burris, offered to do all accounting and file the reports. Mr. Nassauer assumed that he filed his 1999 campaign requirements also, which he has always personally filed, until he received notice of this issue. As soon as he received the notice, the report was filed.
The letters were also sent to an address where he has not lived for 10 years.
