Request that the Board waive the $2,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against Donald W. Smith, a candidate for Coroner in Bienville Parish in the October 24, 2015 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 662 days late. |
|
Donald W. Smith states the he believed that all his campaign reports had been submitted and received. He states that the late fees assessed will add a financial burden to him and his family and he would have to apply for financial help with the local bank. He states this will cause him to strain his monthly budget to repay the financial institution.
