RE:
Request that the Board waive the $360 campaign finance late fee assessed against Arthur K. Lewis, in his capacity as a candidate for Chief of Police / Town of Vidalia in the March 5, 2016 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late.
Facts:
Rosa Demby states that she is the campaign manager and takes responsibility for this late filing. She was new to the task and did not understand that a 10-G report needed to be filed 10 days after the election. She thought that if the candidate was unsuccessful no report was due.
