RE:
Request to reconsider the Board's denial of a waiver request submitted by Joseph L. Hilton, unsuccessful candidate for Vernon Parish Policy Jury - District 11 in the 10/24/2015 election, regarding a $1,500 late fee assessed for filing his Amended 2014 Tier 3 Candidate PFD 293 days late.
Facts:
The Board declined to consider the waiver since Mr. Hilton had not yet filed the amended report. The amended report has now been filed. Mr. Hilton states that the late fee would create a financial hardship.

Initial Information:

Mr. Hilton states that it was his understanding that the income received from the Vernon Parish School Board did not have to be disclosed. Mr. Hilton also states that he does not remember receiving a Notice of Delinquency asking him to disclose the income. A review of the green card receipt shows Joseph Hilton's signature and his name printed below the signature.
