Request from William Temple to waive the $1,500 late fee assessed for filing a late registration and $500 late fee assessed for the late filing of the January 2017 Lobbying Expenditure Report. |
|
Mr. Temple states that he filed his December 2016 expenditure report on January 9, 2017. Mr. Temple states he did no lobbying during the months of January or February 2017. He states that he attempted to report for January in February 2017, but the system did not show a drop down section for 2017 so he sent an email to the Ethics Administration and waited a week but did not receive a response. On March 9th, he states he called, and he was advised that he had not completed the registration process because he did not pay the registration fee. After he paid the registration fee, he finalized his report for January. Mr. Temple is asking for a waiver of the late fees because he says the late filings were unintentional and his January report disclosed no expenditures.
